Celebrate the Australian Wooden Boat Festival on Hobart's own iconic wooden boat: the Lady Nelson.
Held across Hobart’s vibrant and bustling waterfront, the four-day festival brings together the largest and most beautiful collection of wooden boats in the southern hemisphere.

Opening festival Parade of Sail from Margate to Hobart
This sail departs Margate at around 8:00am and arrives in Hobart around 3:00pm in the afternoon.
After being picked up at Margate the Lady Nelson gathers with the other Tall Ships at the mouth of the Derwent and sail (usually) with the sea breeze until just near Hobart.
