Sail into Hobart on the Lady Nelson for the start of the Wooden Boat Festival. 7th February 2025
This sail departs Margate at around 8:am and arrives in Hobart around 3:00pm in the afternoon.
After being picked up at Margate the Lady Nelson gathers with the other Tall Ships at the mouth of the Derwent and sail (usually) with the sea breeze until just near Hobart.
We will then form a convoy of tall ships to parade past the Governor's vessel leading all the other vessels in the fleet.

- Cost Margate to Hobart including morning tea and lunch: $230
- Getting to Margate: The Wooden Boat Festival Organisers will provide busses from Hobart but this will be an extra cost of $12-15 and you will need to advise us if you want to use this option.

Overnight Adventure
We have a limited number of vacancies to sail down to the Channel Area on the Thursday afternoon (the 6th).
Stay overnight on the Lady Nelson and sail into Hobart on the Parade of sail next day.
